Yesterday an agreement was published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid introducing modifications in the aid procedure for the self-employment consolidation programme.
The agreement enters into force as of today, August 9, 2019, although the files in process will continue to be processed in accordance with the provisions of the regulations that were applicable to them at the time they were initiated.
By means of this modification, it will be guaranteed that self-employed workers in the Community of Madrid will enjoy aid that allows them to maintain the Flat rate of 50 euros during their first two years of discharge, offsetting the excess contribution made during those first two years over said amount, taking as a reference and provided that they are contributions for the minimum base established in general, and the compulsory contribution rates corresponding to the eligible period and in force in the month in which the self-employed worker was registered.
The main novelties introduced with this modification refer to the deadlines for submitting applications and the form of presentation of this aid:
- The self-employed who have registered with the RETA and meet the conditions to be beneficiaries, may submit the application DURING THE LAST TWO MONTHS of initial period enjoyment of the state reduction and UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF THE SECOND MONTH FOLLOWING quoted period.
- Applications will be submitted exclusively by electronic means.
