The importance of technological entrepreneurship for today's society was highlighted at the table. Verónica Backaldiza said that \"we are in the API economy\"; while the director of Madrid Emprende, Pedro González, stressed that \"now citizens can organize to improve public services\", using the Madrid EMT Apps as an example.
Finally, the winners of the awards were announced: the winning company of this 2014 edition was Wonnova, while the second prize went to Sivarit, and the third for On Retrieval.
