Madrid is a favorable city for women entrepreneurs. This was revealed today at the award ceremony of the 2013 Entrepreneurship Award, which is awarded each year by the magazine I donate and Madrid Emprende. The winner of this edition has been Marta Fernandez Casas, designer and creator of Pillow Bra, a company that started its activities in February of this year.
"Our objective is to create an ecosystem favorable to job creation, favorable to those who want to invest, to those who want to excel," said the mayoress, Ana Botella. In addition to recalling the activity of Madrid Emprende, Botella has pointed out the importance of the Network of Business Incubators that the Madrid City Council has launched. In one of those nurseries, the one in Puente de Vallecas, the applicants for the Prize have been working.
