The Municipal Producers Market of the Planetarium celebrates its second edition on June 17

Summary

36 small production companies from various parts of the Community of Madrid participate in the Market, all of them selected under a common denominator, artisanal and/or ecological production.

 

This initiative aims to promote the consumption conscious, responsible and sustainable where visitors can find a wide variety of food and drinks made in the environment.  And without intermediaries,  thereby providing consumers with access to quality autochthonous food, obtained from traditional systems that do not usually reach large retailers.

 

During the day on Sunday you can buy, among other products, oils, meats, vegetables, fruits and natural juices, cheeses, eggs, honey, sweets, preserves, fresh pasta and snacks.

 

The Planetarium Cover Market is a space suitable for all family members,  with children's workshops for the little ones related to the care of the sustainable environment.

 

It is also a market that promotes the philosophy Zero Waste a global movement that aims to reduce the amount of waste thus contributing to preserve our environment.  That's why The Municipal Producers' Market Planetarium is free of single-use plastic utensils, glasses and bags, and organic waste is deposited in the new brown container for composting.

 

This local product market It is held on the third Sunday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the District of Arganzuela, under the roofs of the Planetarium Avenue corner of C/ Meneses, a few meters from the IMAX and next to the  Tierno Galván, one of the largest parks in the city of Madrid with 45 hectares. to enjoy.
