Signing of collaboration agreement with Banco Sabadell

Summary

Facilitating access to bank financing, promoting business creation and self-employment are the key objectives of the collaboration agreement signed today, Tuesday, October 10, by the delegate of Equity, Social Rights and Employment, Marta Higueras, and the deputy general director of the Bank of Sabadell, Blanca Montero, with a validity of four years, extendable for another four additional years.

As a result of this agreement, entrepreneurs advised by the Entrepreneur's Single Window or the Network of business incubators, of the Department of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, and who need access to bank credit to launch their business ideas, can choose to that financing. The city council will study the business plans presented and their viability whenever external financing is necessary.

The Department of Commerce and Entrepreneurship applies the provisions of Law 14/2013 on Support for Entrepreneurs and their Internationalization, which mandates facilitating the creation of new companies, the effective start of their activity and their development, through the provision information services, documentation processing, advice, training and support for business financing.

Home loan

The agreement has a special section for startups where the bank makes available to innovative technology companies a network of offices specialized in BStartups, with a risk analysis that takes into account the peculiarities of these companies.

Entrepreneurs will be able to access different services such as the “startup loan for entrepreneurs”, with exclusive conditions, which can only be accessed through the Business Single Window. Financing can reach the 100% of the project, for a maximum term of 3 to 5 years, with the possibility of a one-year grace period, fixed interest and exempt from a study commission.

In addition, they will be able to access other products of the entity such as the business expansion account, E-commerce, credits for courses and studies, national and international factoring, subsidized lines and remote banking services, among others.

Throughout the duration of the agreement, conferences, work tables, seminars and workshops will be held for business creation and business training to help achieve the objectives and constant support for companies.
