Artx Games is a Spanish independent development studio, focused on the production of virtual reality games and applications, they are experts in gamification for third parties and develop their own games for PC and Nintendo Switch.
During the Madrid Game & Business, Three talks were given by industry professionals. These presentations were focused on the development of video games and the possible business models and ways of exploiting them:
· Fernando Urquijo, of Artax Games, expert in shaders and graphic programming with his presentation “Gentle Introduction to Image Effects” revealed to us the secrets of post-processing effects for video games in Unity.
· David Rioja, of Educa Gamesin his talk “Mobile Games: Survival Guide” He told us about his experience in the development of educational mobile games, the different monetization models, as well as the keys to position them within the application store using ASO (App Store Optimization) techniques.
· Pablo Rodríguez, product development manager at bandai namco with his “The Perfect Pitch” , revealed to us the secrets and techniques to contact a Publisher and what elements a good Pitch must have, to convince a distributor to promote and publish your game.
After the interesting talks, developed the "Snack, Beer & Testing" in the networking space from the nursery. The attendees were able to taste ”Go Hero” Arcade spirit vertical shoot\'em up, developed and released by Artax Games, and share experiences and contacts while enjoying a snack.
Madrid Game & Business is born with the aim of becoming a quarterly meeting in which other studies, students and representatives of the video game industry, can present their proposals, projects and services, so that they are known tested at the event by the attending public.
