The purpose of the awards is to select the best ideas or innovative solutions, technology-based, in the processes of retail commercial activity and incorporated into them. The intention is to promote the modernization of small local businesses, through new technologies and digitization, and promote talent and innovation to generate technological solutions in retail trade in a way that streamlines and modernizes said commercial activity.
They can present themselves to the call:
a) Natural persons, of Spanish nationality or of any member country of the European Union
b) Legal entities that, complying with the other conditions of the call, develop software, hardware or sensoring applicable to their business in the retail commercial activity
The contest has different categories:
a) Ideas oriented to the modernization of commercial businesses with face-to-face sales
b) Ideas aimed at modernizing businesses that manage two sales channels
c) Ideas aimed at providing technological solutions to urban commercial areas, collective commercial establishments and municipal markets
Prizes will be awarded on a competitive basis. The four best ideas will be awarded.
The first prize will entail an economic endowment of 2,600 euros and the remaining prizes will be of the same amount up to the maximum amount of 5,000 euros.
In addition, the winners will be able to enjoy the following solutions from the State Post and Telegraph Society SA service portfolio during the year following the selection of the project in the ideas contest:
– Use of CorreosLabs infrastructures in order to develop and implement their projects
– Use of Correos solutions to sell online (Comandia) with a 50% discount on the rates of the published plans and a 20% discount on the design and start-up service
– Benefit from the use of Correos parcel solutions with promoted prices and discounts on published rates
Other ideas may also be the object of honorary mention, without any economic endowment.
The deadline for submitting applications will end on October 31, 2019.
