One of the main objectives of this event is to bring interior design and the work of the great Spanish decorators closer  and from young designers to the general public, thus promoting the international projection of Spanish talent. The event has been held in the Barrio de las Letras because it is the headquarters of many Spanish interior designers, because it brings together tradition and modernity in the same environment, and because of its cultural, artistic and tourist interest.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the ephemeral installations of more than 100 interior designers and schools of architecture, design and interior design that are participating this year. The Barrio de las Letras will be filled with creativity, originality and, above all, quality. To do this, DecorAcción 2018 will have the collaboration of two curators who have supervised each of the projects, Susana Sancho Cespedes, member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Designers of Madrid (DIMAD) and Pascual Medel, graphic and interior designer.

This edition will once again have the participation of renowned interior designers and designers such as Erico Navazo or Luis García Fraile. In addition, DecorAcción is a platform to give visibility to the work of students from universities and schools of design, architecture and interior design that will intervene in some emblematic spaces of the Barrio de las Letras.

As a novelty, this edition will incorporate urban art by young artists with the action Arete de Calle, in collaboration with Mahou, which is part of the 1st edition of the Street Art Contest, whose objective is to encourage and reward the talent of young people artists.
