New edition of the Municipal Market of Producers of the Planetarium

Summary

By holding this Producers' Market, organized by the Madrid City Council through the Government Area for Equity, Social Rights and Employment, the aim is to promote conscious, responsible and sustainable consumption, so that visitors can find a wide variety of food and drinks of 'kilometre 0'. As they are local products, the distribution is fairer without intermediaries, the food is tastier and healthier, the CO2 emissions produced by transport are reduced and, not least, by choosing these products you help the local economy.

 

In the stalls you can buy cheeses, oils, honey, preserves, organic eggs, bread, craft beer, chickpeas, vegetables, Iberian products, wines, olives, empanadas, fresh pasta, jams... All from companies that take great care the entire process of cultivation, breeding and packaging so that the final product is of the highest quality.

 

After the success of the previous edition, the Chuletown Valley band will participate again, who will be in charge of livening up the market with their music and there will also be children's activities for the little ones in the house.

 

This new edition will be held, as always, on the third Sunday of the month and will be next Sunday, February 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the roofs of Avda. Planetario, on the corner with Calle Meneses, next to Tierno Galván park, in the district of Arganzuela.

 

Since responsible consumption is one of the objectives of the market, the exhibiting companies will not hand out single-use plastic bags, so it is advisable to go with a shopping cart or reusable bags.

 

The following editions will be March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15.
