After the success of the previous editions, new participating brands and designers once again walk their shop windows on wheels through the most commercial areas of the city. A daring and cosmopolitan carousel will circulate on BiciMAD electric bicycles along a route that includes the most emblematic and commercial streets: Jorge Juan, Goya, Serrano, Velázquez, Ortega y Gasset, Génova, Alcalá, Bárbara de Braganza, Sagasta, etc. The Plaza de Colón will be the meeting point (departure and arrival) where each participant will expose a pop up where he will present his proposals and sell his products, bringing them closer to all the public who wants to get hold of the must of this season. Prescribers and creators of trends, fashion and lifestyle, will accompany this original initiative from the well-known double decker, bus that accompanies the footbridge.
The TrendCycle is included within the actions of Madrid Capital of Fashion, an initiative of the Madrid City Council that brings together all the fashion events in the capital, and that has wanted to be actively present at this IV Edition and as an official sponsor, together with the Business Forum for Madrid, in order to convey the concept that design, fashion and accessories are spread throughout the city of Madrid.
BiciMAD, Madrid's public bicycle system, will be, for yet another year, the one that facilitates the "windows" on the move: all the models will pedal their electric bicycles, a means of urban and sustainable transport to get around the capital. The Alenta Organization will put the solidarity pin on this action, with a stand where they will report on their social work and offer the public the work done by the organization's boys. The TrendCycle Awards will be chosen by a jury made up of experts in the sector and passionate about urban trends.
The most original brands, designers and fashion stores, and new entrepreneurs in the fashion sector, will pedal presenting their collections, coinciding with the arrival of good weather in Madrid and spring.
