Aid for social responsibility and work-life balance in the Community of Madrid

The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid, through the General Directorate of Self-Employed and Entrepreneurship, has implemented the aid program aimed at promoting social responsibility and work-life balance in the region.

This program consists of two lines designed to benefit both self-employed workers and small businesses:

  1. Implementation of social responsibility:

Actions are subsidized to obtain or renew certifications of norms and standards in social responsibility, such as the SA 8000 Standard or the IQNet SR10 Certification. In addition, participation in initiatives that promote social responsibility is encouraged.

The amount of the subsidy will be the equivalent of 75 % of the cost of the eligible actions with a maximum of 2,500 euros per company.

  1. Work-life balance:

Focused on encouraging work-life balance through teleworking and flexible hours. The formalization of this type of agreement is subsidized, as well as 75 % of the cost of electronic equipment necessary for teleworking.

In the case of teleworking, the aid will consist of an incentive of 2,500 euros per person, with a maximum limit of 10,000 euros per company. In the case of flexible hours, the aid will consist of an incentive of 2,500 euros per worker, with a maximum limit of 10,000 euros per company.

The maximum amount that the same company can obtain in relation to teleworking and flexibility measures will be 10,000 euros.

Who is this aid for and what are the requirements?

The aid is aimed at self-employed workers and small businesses in the Community of Madrid, as long as they meet certain requirements:

  • Not be public entities.
  • Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
  • Carry out the activity in the Community of Madrid.

In addition, beneficiaries must meet specific requirements depending on the line of the program to which they apply, such as obtaining social responsibility certifications or formalizing teleworking agreements.

What is the submission deadline and what documentation must be submitted?

Applications must be submitted separately for each line and within a period of three months from the completion of the eligible activity.

The required documentation varies depending on the line, although in general it must include the application and documents that support the veracity of the information provided.

The processing is carried out exclusively by electronic means, with the need to use electronic signature systems recognized by the Community of Madrid. Once the request is registered, the service is enabled. file status consultation from where you can:
