The future of commerce stars in the fourth edition of the Madrid Retail Congress

Summary

The evolution that retail is experiencing is unstoppable, especially in terms of digitization and the use of new technological tools. The need for trade to adapt, regardless of its size, to maintain its competitiveness in the face of the expectations of the new digital consumer, must cover all aspects of companies and all their members.

The fourth edition of Madrid Retail Congress, which will be held on November 27 and 28 under the motto “The hour of the New Retail”, will review the trends in the sector and will be the perfect space for debate in which to outline the future of the retail.

The event will take place at the Palace of the Dukes of Pastrana, Paseo de la Habana 208, in Madrid.

Within the extensive program of the two days of congress, conferences and debates dedicated to omnichannel, new business models, or the coexistence of commercial SMEs with giants stand out on-line. Executives from companies such as El Corte Inglés, Carrefour, Kantar TNS, Nielsen, Tendam Retail, Conforama, Sánchez Romero, Multiópticas, Springfield, Covirán, Capkelenn, Lukapp or Somoscompra, among others, will share with the attendees experiences and concerns regarding the new era to trade.

As the main novelty this year, the parallel program of Madrid Retail Tech will bring together experts in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, eCuponing, Loyalty, Visual Merchandising and much more. In addition, in the hands of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, the Visual Tour will be held again, a tour of the main shops in Madrid in which window dressing experts will reveal the main keys to success in this highly relevant aspect for commerce.

In only three editions, Madrid Retail Congress has established itself as the major event for the sector of the  retail in Spain.

The congress is organized by the Spanish Confederation of Commerce (CEC), the Confederation of Commerce of Madrid (COCEM), and the editorial group D/A Retail. It also has the support, among others, of Banco de Santander, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, the Community of Madrid and Madrid City Council.
